Last things seem generally sad: Last cookie, last dinosaur, last breath we take…. But it could be positive, as in the last case of cancer — wouldn’t that be great?
Or, it could be a warning…
As in, last chance to vote!
Today is Monday, no, don’t worry, today is not the last day — but that day is tomorrow, don’t lose it, don’t let it slip away…
Tuesday, November 5th, 2024, is the last chance to (according to my beliefs) vote for something wonderful and against something incredibly dangerous — at the same time.
It is the last day to both cast a vote for Kamala Harris, and against, well, the other person.
If all goes well, Kamala will take on the most difficult job in the world — and the other person will retire to his life of luxury and legal difficulties.
I will not even try to imagine the opposite scenario, if the wrong person wins, because I have absolute faith that we will prevail.
When Kamala was vice President, I am sure she gave the job everything she had — but now she will take the steering wheel herself, and guide what Lincoln called “the ship of state.”
She will face gigantic problems and possibilities, may every heart be with her, regardless of one’s politics.
If you, like me, are overwhelmingly proud to have Kamala Harris represent us, please think if there is anything else you can do to give her a positive start; your vote is of primary importance, of course, (be sure that’s done) but is there something else as well? Anything? Probably not! You have worked so hard!
What a blessing you have been, in this the greatest political battle of our lives.
Thank you for your every effort; the hours of your life you sacrificed toward the greater good — and every donation you made, large or small. You are the reason we out-donated the heavily-moneyed other party — they might have had had the richest man in the world, but we had you!
We small-dollar-donor’ed them!
Generations yet unborn have reason to thank you. As do I.
Thank you, very much!
Sincerely,
Don C. Reed
